Barford Road Bridge - Closure

Posted 26 weeks ago (01/11) by Theresa Goss

Oxfordshire County Council will be closing the Bloxham Road at Barford Bridge between Barford St Michal and Barford St John at 07:30 Monday 13th November for an anticipated 2 days.

Advanced Warning Signs are already in place indicate the road will be closed for 3 days for contingency, but they do not anticipate requiring all 3 days. This closure is to facilitate investigation works to be completed, to inform the design of strengthening of the currently weak bridge. The closure will be removed as soon as possible if works progress quicker than expected.

A signed diversion route will be provided via Adderbury and Deddington. Properties and field gates located north of the structure will be accessible via Bloxham.
