Community & Sports Centre Project
Working for Adderbury Community is a group of enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about delivering the community of Adderbury, a new and modern Community and Sports Centre.
The Group, which is working on behalf of the Parish Council, meets regularly to discuss fundraising and grant funding opportunities to enable the project to progress to the next stage, which is the construction of the Community and Sports Centre. The achievements of the project so far include:
- planning approval for a new Community and Sports Centre
- working towards the discharge of all of the planning conditions
- laying two full size football pitches, which will be ready for use when the building is completed, which also includes a new drainage system
- the entrance to the site has been constructed
- amazing support from the community (residents and businesses) with local fundraising events and donations
