Adderbury Lakes: Our Local Nature Reserve - Needs You!

Posted 38 weeks ago (10/08) by Theresa Goss

This summer has been such a mixture of weather, but many villagers and other visitors have continued to enjoy the Lakes. As you can see we continue to struggle with controlling weed and algae.

We would not be able to maintain the Lakes without the support of our Working Party Volunteers - why not give it a try?

New volunteers are very welcome and working parties will be held on the following Saturday mornings:

2023

2024

September 2nd

January 6th

September 23rd

February 4th

October 7th

March 2nd

November 4th

December 2nd

We meet at Lake Walk Car Park at 9am – or just come along and find the group around the Lakes when you can. Bring strong gloves and if possible any loppers, rakes or spades.  Coffee and biscuits are provided at break time and the parties finish by 12pm. For further details please contact Rachel Moffat at adderburylakevolunteers@gmail.com

And if you have any views or ideas about the Lakes do please get in touch.
