Removal of Bottle Banks

Posted 48 weeks ago (30/05) by Theresa Goss

The bottle banks located in the A4260 layby just outside the Twyford side of Adderbury are being removed this week.

The location of the banks appear to encourage constant fly tipping in the layby, with all sorts of rubbish being dumped around the banks and in the ditch behind.

Therefore Adderbury Parish Council and Cherwell District Council have agreed that the recycling banks should be removed as this situation cannot continue.

Both authorities offer their apologies for any inconvenience this causes to those who use the banks properly and there are alternatives in the Sainsbury's car park in Banbury and at Bodicote House, White Post Road, Bodicote.
