Litter Pick - 28 January 2023

A huge thank you and well done to our litter picking heroes!
On Saturday 28 January 2023, we removed 15 bin bags full of litter and all manner of rubbish from the Lucy Plackett playing fields.
A whole tennis net, a fox trap and patches of carpet were amongst the haul!
We also had a Brook team removing overhanging branches and debris from the Sor Brook which will help to reduce the flood risk. Thanks also go to Paul, Mike and Rowland who transported it all to the tip!
Excellent work all round!
