Councillors >Mark Gerold

I am a retired Chartered Surveyor, married with two children now in their 40’s and six grandchildren. Until my retirement in January 2022, I spent my career of almost 50 years working in London. In the later stages of my career, I was chairman of the Valuation professional group at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and of their Valuation Standards Board, a member of their Governing Council and of their strategic advisory group. I am also a trustee of Healthcare Management Trust which is a charity which has two hospitals and three care homes. One of the aims of the charity is to provide grant aid for research into dementia. Having moved to Adderbury in 2019, I am keen to do what I can to contribute to village life and to use those skill sets which I have gained over the years in both my career and voluntary work. The friendliness and welcome of the people of Adderbury has been amazing. Key is a vibrant and engaged community and I hope that I will be able to help do what I can to ensure that this is sustained.
