Parish Council Biodiversity Project

Posted 197 weeks ago (15/07) by Theresa Goss

The Parish Council is working with residents and Cherwell District Council (CDC) to develop more biodiversity throughout the village by leaving some parts of verges and amenity areas uncut for the summer.

The intention is to allow grasses and wildflowers to emerge and set seed in order to encourage insects, birds and other wildlife.

The areas will be fully mown at the end of the season.

This is in line with the Adderbury Neighbourhood Plan Policies AD2 and AD4.
