Ann Lyons
I confess that I am a ‘foreigner’ having been born just down the road in Banbury, but I have lived in the village for over 20 years now, having moved here when our youngest son was just one year old.
As well as being a Parish Councillor I am a member of FOCAL and Chairman of 1460 (Banbury) Squadron Air Training Corps, and I work for Warwick District Council.
My Parish Council duties include:
Keeping an eye on the play equipment in the Lucy Plackett Playing Field
Taking the cemetery bins down for collection, in rotation with other Parish Councillors
Finally doing the best I can for the village, which is what all Parish Councillors try to do.
